Discipline, Duties, and Rights

Introduction

The Special Defense Unit of the Kurdistan Future Movement is a national, organized, and professional force. Its operational foundation is built on strict discipline, loyalty to the homeland and the people, and commitment to the strategic vision of the movement.

This regulation serves as a military code to organize internal affairs and define the limits of authority and responsibilities.
This force operates directly under the supervision of the General Leadership.

Section One: Military Discipline

1. Obedience and Compliance:
   The execution of military orders within the chain of command without hesitation is a fundamental condition of membership.
2. Chain of Command:
   Respect for military hierarchy and refraining from bypassing levels when reporting or receiving orders.
3. Protection of Confidential Information:
   Safeguarding military, technical, and operational information is a red line. Any disclosure is considered an act of national betrayal.
4. Military Conduct:
   Commitment to human values, respect for civilians, and avoidance of any behavior that could damage the reputation of the force.

Section Two: Military Duties

1. Continuous Readiness:
   Maintaining a high level of physical and mental readiness to carry out assigned duties at any time and place.
2. Protection of Sovereignty:
   Defending the land and the supreme interests of Kurdistan and safeguarding the strategic institutions of the movement.
3. Training and Exercises:
   Active participation in military training programs and continuous development of skills in marksmanship, tactics, and military technology.
4. Monitoring and Security:
   Performing intelligence and internal security duties with precision and full vigilance.
5. Protection of Equipment:
   Safeguarding weapons, ammunition, and military equipment as public assets and using them only for official purposes.

Section Three: Military Rights

1. Promotion:
   Every fighter and officer has the right to promotion based on competence, service duration, and dedication.
2. Logistical Support:
   Providing the best available weapons, uniforms, food, and modern military necessities to ensure effective performance.
3. Legal Protection:
   The movement is committed to providing legal defense and protecting the rights of its members during the execution of official duties.
4. Healthcare and Social Services:
   Providing full health insurance for fighters and their families, along with a fair salary and benefits ensuring a dignified life.
5. Leave and Rest:
   Organizing leave schedules to maintain balance between personal life and military duties.

Section Four: Penalties and Procedures

1. Any negligence in performing duties or violation of discipline will be subject to a military investigation committee.
2. Penalties range from (warnings, rank reduction, salary deductions) to (dismissal from service and legal prosecution), depending on the severity of the violation.
