Statement from the Kurdistan Future Movement
While we firmly oppose the outbreak of any destructive war in the region, we emphasize that the continued survival of this regime constitutes a serious and ongoing threat to the security and stability of the entire Middle East.
This regime, controlled by a narrow religious authority, has subjected ethnic and religious minorities in Iran to systematic oppression, denying them their most basic rights and freedoms. Furthermore, it has played a destabilizing role in the region through its continued support for armed groups and militant activities.
In recent days alone, more than 50,000 civilians have been killed, a devastating reminder that this regime is not seeking peace, but rather buying time while continuing its violence against innocent people.
Any agreement that prolongs the life of this regime will not bring stability—it will instead strengthen the forces of extremism, terrorism, and regional instability.
We believe that the only real and lasting solution lies in fundamental and transformative change. True peace and stability in the region can only be achieved through the end of this oppressive regime and the establishment of a democratic and just system that guarantees the rights of all peoples and nation.
We call for total regime change in the region. Our struggle for change will continue—with or without the support of American troops.
