To the struggling people of Kurdistan,
To the international community and global public opinion:
Last night, in yet another act of aggression and terrorism, the Islamic Republic of Iran targeted the headquarters of the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces in the Soran area using ballistic missiles. This deliberate attack represents a grave violation of human life, international norms, and the sovereignty of Kurdistan.
As a result of this brutal assault, 6 brave Peshmergas were martyred and 30 others were injured. These were not merely soldiers—they were defenders of their land, protectors of their people, and symbols of courage and sacrifice.
We, in the Kurdistan Future Movement, strongly and unequivocally condemn this cowardly crime. At a time when the people of Kurdistan—both in the east and within the Kurdistan Region—have clearly expressed their neutrality in ongoing conflicts, the regime in Tehran has once again demonstrated that it understands nothing but the language of violence, bloodshed, and intimidation.
We extend our deepest condolences to the honorable families of the martyrs and to their comrades in arms. We stand with you in grief and in pride. We affirm that the blood of these heroes will not be in vain. To the wounded, we wish a full and speedy recovery.
We urgently call upon the international community to break its silence and take a firm stance against these repeated violations. Continued inaction only emboldens aggression and threatens the fragile peace and stability of the entire region.
These attacks are not isolated incidents—they are a direct threat to regional security and to the fundamental principles of sovereignty and human dignity.
Shame on the enemies of Kurdistan.
